Using the same basic recipe for snowskin moonie, I added a teaspoon of red coloring and rose essence into the skin ingredient to come up with the pink skin. As for the filling ...it's red wine cranberry lotus paste ...bought ready made from the famous Kwong Cheong Thye. The combination of red wine and dried cranberries give a unique taste to the lotus paste. There is the aroma of red wine but I can hardly taste the red wine. There is the sweetness of the cranberries and the fruits give the chewy bite to the paste texture.
Dh tasted it and said that the taste is sort of queer .... but I know he is a person who only likes the traditional types of moonies.

Hi tweetybird
Thanks for visiting ...you should try doing this too. Maybe next time I'll use red wine for the skin :-)
