Stuffed Portobello Mushroom

Here's another way to eat this delicious mushroom.
Wipe the mushrooms clean with a wet cloth. Cut off the stalk of these mushrooms. Lay them on a baking tray. Sprinkle some pepper and olive oil over the mushrooms. Spread some mayonnaise over each mushroom and then place a tsp of smashed up luncheon meat onto each mushroom. Sprinkle some mozarella cheese over each mushroom and then bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree C for about 20 minutes. Once the cheese browns, the mushrooms are ready to be eaten.

Thanks for this simple recipe. May I know what is portobello mushrooms? Are they the dried type in packets available during CNY? Sorry, I totally new to cooking & baking. And I love your blog.

Hi family first
These mushrooms are usually found in the chiller section of the supermarket together with all the other fresh mushrooms.
Usually they look like the bigger shitake mushrooms except that the underside where the stem is,is black. You can do a google for their pics too.
