Fireworks

Dh, dd and I made the trip down to the Padang on Saturday night to watch the fireworks created by the team from China. This was the last of the fireworks displays organised to celebrate Singapore's National Day.
By the lights of the Parliament House, we were watching the fireworks displayed right in front of us in the dark ebony sky. I believe these fireworks displays evoke a sense of wonder and amazement to all who were present.
Enjoy these lovely sights ......

my hubby simply adores fireworks but my little one cannot take the loud sound, so guess I have to wait patiently for her to overcome this fear. :(.

Hi pm
Dd also disliked loud sounds.
We viewed the fireworks from the padang which was quite a distant from the source of the fireworks.
She definitely enjoyed the fiery night display without the loud sounds. However due to the distance from the display area we had to sacrifice seeing all the lower fireworks which were hidden behind the trees.

wow nice! How did you managed to capture the fireworks effect on camera? Mine didn't turn out good...

Hi shiyan
I am using the Canon Powershot A700 digital camera. Set it manually at the fireworks setting and then just click away after zooming into the area you fancy
